Just stones / Solo piedras
 
…Just rocks , this is a small intervention made on a rocky beach in the north of France during the summer of 2005, for the duration of a morning. It consisted of collecting and grouping pebbles and, according to their size and shape, I formed a spiral growing up on the sides and up in the middle of a huge beach full of pebbles.
This intervention was the result of moment’s a fleeting sensation, no project of sketch followed it.

 It was the result of the sensation of feeling the pebbles, of feeling the elements in their natural state, I just needed to use my hands, my imagination and feel the smooth breeze coming from the sea…there were just pebbles on top of pebbles making a spiral of life, of water, of air and time…

…Solo piedras, es una pequeña intervención hecha en una playa de piedras al norte de Francia, durante el verano de 2005, durante el espacio de una mañana.  Esta intervención, consistía en recoger y agrupar piedras de diferentes formas y tamaños, de acuerdo a estas características iba formando una espiral que crecía hacia los lados y hacia arriba en una inmensa playa repleta de piedras.

Esta intervención era fruto de una motivación fugaz de un momento, ningún proyecto o boceto lo precedía.  Era fruto de esa sensación única del sentir la piedra, de sentir los elementos en su estado natural, no había que utilizar mas que las manos,  la imaginación y sentir la brisa suave del mar…eran solo piedras sobre mas piedras formando una espiral de la vida, del mar, del agua, del aire y el tiempo…
