Projecto Uno - Colombian Colours is a project that arose mainly out of my reoccupation with the limited participation of Colombian artists in the cultural activity and second is exactly what I'm interested in for cultural promotion. In 2004 I participated in the festival of Latin America celebrated here in Hong Kong, on seeing that it would be done again in 2005, I began to think about the possibility of doing an exhibtion of painting with Colombian artists. Achieving this took about a year, developing the idea, looking for artists in Colombia while I was in Hong Kong, presenting the project to the consulate and to GRULAC, obtaining funding, visiting the artists in Medellin, etc. A beautiful and interesting experience that is worth continuing.
Proyecto Uno-Colombian Colours es un proyecto que nace principalmente de mi preocupacion por la poca participacíon de los artistas Colombianos en la actividad cultural y segundo es precisamente mi interès por la promocíon cultural. En 2004 participé en el festival de America Latina celebrado aquí en Hong Kong, al ver que se realizaría de nuevo en 2005, empecé a pensar en la posibilidad de hacer una muestra de pintura con artistas Colombianos. Llegar a su realizacíon país por un periodo de mas o menos un año. Desarrollo de la idea, buscar los artistas en Colombia desde Hong Kong, presentar el proyecto al consulado, a GRULAC, conseguir los medios economicos, visitar los artistas en Medellïn etc. Una bella e interesante experiencia que metita su continuidad.
